La Gomera, the second smallest island in the Canary Islands, is five times smaller than Tenerife, but its natural sights are unparalleled. The island is divided by deep, steep-sided ravines, known as barrancos, which reflect the impressive power of nature. La Gomera is a real treasure chest, hiding volcanic mountain slopes, palm oases, and enchanting laurel forests.

During the tour, we will make several photo stops to capture the lush landscapes of La Gomera, the sugarloaf-shaped volcanic craters shaped by erosion, and the imposing walls of the ravines.

We start by exploring the southern part of the island in the morning, departing from the ferry port. From the first viewpoint, we admire the capital, San Sebastián, and the stunning panorama of Tenerife with the Teide. This view is only available from La Gomera, offering a unique perspective. As we climb higher into the mountains, the ravines grow more massive, and the slopes become covered with palm oases. Next, we enter the magical world of the laurel forests (laurisilva), where we will experience the island's largest subtropical rainforest, the Garajonay National Park, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Our journey takes us to the heart of the park, to La Laguna Grande, where we will have the option to take a short, beautiful walk to discover the enchanting trees and flowers of the laurel forest. A playground for children is also available here.

Afterward, we head to the northern part of the island, to the Vallehermoso Valley, where on clear days, we can even see the peaks of La Palma. We will stop for a short photo session, then enjoy a meal at a charming panoramic restaurant, where we will learn about the famous "silbo" whistle language—a unique form of communication that is still taught in schools on La Gomera and has been part of UNESCO's intangible cultural heritage since 2009.

After lunch, we will visit a small banana plantation in Hermigua, where mango, papaya, and avocado trees also grow. The final photo stop of the tour will take place again in the southern part of the island at a picturesque ravine. Before returning to the ferry, we will have free time in San Sebastián to visit the Canary Islands' oldest building, the La Torre del Conde, the beautiful Ascension Church, and Columbus' Fountain.
