What does the program include?
Authentic Banana Farm Visit
Banana cultivation is one of Tenerife’s most important agricultural sectors. The Canary Islands are famous for their sweet and flavorful bananas, made unique by the island’s special climate and volcanic soil.
The finca we visit is an authentic banana farm located in southern Tenerife. Here, you will gain insight into the cultivation process, learn about sustainable farming methods and local agricultural traditions, and taste freshly picked bananas.
The farm is one of the notable producers of Plátano de Canarias, using organic methods and minimal chemicals to ensure environmentally friendly farming.
Güímar Valley – Eastern Tenerife
The second stop of the tour is the Güímar Valley, located in eastern Tenerife. Here, you will experience the unique combination of volcanic landscapes and rich historical heritage. The valley’s special microclimate creates lush vegetation and a diverse natural environment.
Surrounded by mountains, this area is one of the most beautiful and varied regions of Tenerife — an ideal choice for those who wish to discover the island’s lesser-known yet breathtaking side.
This tour is the perfect opportunity to spend meaningful hours filled with authentic experiences and gain a deeper insight into Tenerife’s agricultural and natural world.
