The Güímar Valley is located in the eastern part of Tenerife, an area rich in natural beauty that offers a unique combination of the island's volcanic landscapes and history. The valley's special microclimate and green vegetation provide a striking contrast to the drier southern regions.

The most famous attraction in the area is the Güímar pyramids, which remain a mystery to scientists and travelers to this day. The stepped stone structures were long thought to be simple agricultural stone piles, but research by the famous Norwegian explorer Thor Heyerdahl suggests that they may have been ancient structures used for ritual purposes.
