We start our journey in the port of Los Cristianos, where we take a ferry to the island of La Gomera. We start our excursion on the south side of the island, with our first short stop at the Roque de Agando. This is a peculiar rock formation that was formed from volcanic magma over the millennia. Continuing from here, we reach the heart of the Garajonay National Park, which hides the most important laurel forest in the Canary Islands and has been part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1986. Here we will witness the contrast between the lush evergreen forest and the arid landscapes that surround the island. Through stunning, untouched landscapes, we arrive at the Las Rosas restaurant, a cozy place where you can taste the excellent gastronomy of the island with the best service, in a family atmosphere, in a unique and typical way for the island (lunch is included in the price). After lunch we stop at the village of Agulón (a beautiful northern town open to the Atlantic Ocean), whose landscape is always dominated by the peak of Teide. Agulo is full of pleasant cobbled streets and beautiful tiled houses surrounded by self-sufficient vegetable gardens. The last stop of our excursion is the island's capital, San Sebastian, where we have a quick meal and see the main attractions. To end our day we return to Tenerife by ferry.
